Responsibilities
Risk Identification and Analysis: Identify, analyze, and document security risks, focusing on potential impacts to business operations.
Risk Mitigation: Develop, prioritize, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Policy and Procedure Development: Create and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in line with best practices and legal requirements.
Security Audits: Conduct or coordinate regular audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls.
Incident Response: Assist in the development and execution of incident response plans, ensuring quick and effective response to security breaches.
Education and Training: Promote security awareness across the organization through training sessions and communications.
Compliance: Ensure that all security practices comply with relevant laws and regulations such as GDPR.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT security, with 2+ years specifically in risk management or a similar role.
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification preferred.
Skills:
Deep knowledge of risk assessment tools, methodologies, and processes.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex information systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey security risks to stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in security policy development and incident response.
