This role offers the chance to shape the security strategy of a leading global enterprise. You will work directly with senior management, providing expert guidance on all aspects of cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management. This position not only involves protecting our assets but also innovating our approach to security challenges, making it a pivotal role in our strategic growth.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like GDPR, DPA, and industry standards.
Lead incident response activities to address any security breaches or cyber threats efficiently.
Manage relationships with external security vendors, partners, and industry groups.
Educate and train employees on information security procedures and policies.
Report to the board of directors on security posture, risk, and compliance metrics.
Stay abreast of the latest security technologies and threats to continuously improve security measures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of implementing security programs at the enterprise level.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Ability to work in the UK without sponsorship.
